the difference one year makes

Each fall we spend a weekend at my Mom and Dad's, enjoying lots of things about the fall. We often do pumpkin carving, bike riding, bonfires, yard games and eat lots of good food. And if you know anything about us, we couldn't have a weekend without tons of pictures. 

Last fall I asked my brother-in-law Josh to take some pictures of us, knowing we'd need them for an adoption profile book.

This fall my sister Alicia took some of us with our beautiful new baby!

If only it had been as easy as inserting this adorable baby into our photo. This last year was filled with lots of excitement, anxiety, fear and worry, but above all TRUST! We had no idea what God had in store for our family, but now that Andrew is here it all makes sense. We're so thankful for everything we went through in order to reach this point. Andrew has been an incredible blessing to our family!
